Installation of a Hybrid Solar PV System in Juba
The Smart Facilities program, funded by the UNDP, aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the operational costs of UN buildings. In Juba, Enviroearth designed a hybrid solar system to replace the aging generators at the UN office, reducing fuel consumption, energy costs, and the carbon footprint, while improving energy efficiency through modernized equipment.
For this project, Enviroearth managed:
Needs assessment and site survey;
Civil engineering works with our local partner;
Installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof and carport;
Integration and factory testing of the solar generator;
International and local logistics;
Commissioning of the system and training of local partners.
In addition, a three-year maintenance contract was signed to monitor the farm’s production.
