Construction of an infrastructure to house a radionuclide detection station in Kuwait
At the end of 2019, the ENVIROEARTH team was chosen in Kuwait to modernize a scientific radionuclide measurement station built 15 years ago. The aim is to enlarge it and make it more functional.
The project, launched in 2020, was quickly halted due to the drastic restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 health crisis. Work was halted for several months.
Since 2021, once the health situation had stabilized, work has resumed. A resistant infrastructure was built to cope with various climatic conditions such as corrosion, extreme heat and sandstorms.
In October 2022, a member of our team travels to Kuwait City to ensure the completion of the worksite and accompany the commissioning of the new detection chain.
For this project, Enviroearth's mission was to :
Project management
Logistics and shipment of materials to site
Provide all technical drawings for the design engineering part of the project
Purchase all necessary equipment and materials, shipping and logistics
Coordinate the various parties involved in the project: Enviroearth / local partners / subcontractors
Remotely supervise construction work throughout the project
Ensure compliance with control rules and regulations in accordance with local standards
Provide on-site assistance before and during equipment installation, station commissioning and initial testing
Train operators in building use and maintenance
