Power supply upgrades, maintenance and renovation services

In one of the most northerly cities on the planet, Qaanaaq, Greenland, the Enviroearth team modernized a scientific measuring station based on infrasound technology.

The aim of the project was to improve the internal radio communication system between several transmitter sites, to optimize the electrical installation by changing all electrical boxes, equipment and surge protection, and to set up a passive calibration system for the measurement equipment.

The challenge was to provide robust equipment adapted to the extreme climatic conditions of the Arctic and the isolated nature of the site, to ensure the sustainable operation of the scientific station.

For this project, Enviroearth took charge of project management and international logistics, handling the installation of new equipment and parts for the noise reduction system (WNRS), as well as upgrading the radio.
