Complete renovation of an infrasound measuring station in Djibouti
At the end of 2022, the Enviroearth team travels to Djibouti to renovate the eight infrasound measurement sites and the communications equipment at the control center.
In order to renovate the station, the team is undertaking the following work:
Renovation of roads and access paths
Dismantling old equipment
Installation of stainless steel vaults, integrating everything in one:
Electrical management and distribution
Communication chain
Instrumentation chain
Installation of new WNRS mechanical infrasound filters
Manufacture and installation of a carport to reduce the integrated vault's exposure to the sun
Renovation of telecommunications network via antennas and radio modems
Renovation of communications equipment at the station control center
