Enviroearth

Time to quantify

On behalf of the British Geological Survey, Enviroearth realised a mapping of the natural magnetic field of the island. One operator was in charge of the sensor and of the GMS19 magnetometer lent by the Danish Meteorological Institute. Another operator was in charge of waypoints with a GPS. Both had to make sure they were not wearing any metallic object or watch. The first operator was taking instant measures while the second one was writing down accurate GPS coordinates.
A Google Earth type map was realised for each Survey.
